Building plans are to be submitted online to Sydney Water via the 'Sydney Water Tap In' Tool on the Sydney Water website.
  2. Get plans approved
If your building plans ARE NOT located on or near Sydney Water assets, your application will be approved.
If your building plans ARE located near Sydney Water assets, you will require a Section 73 Certificate.
  3. Get a Section 73 Compliance Certificate
During your Section 73 Certificate application, you will generally need a Service Protection Report (Pegout). You may also need to engage with a Water Servicing Coordinator (WSC) who will design your new water pipelines in accordance to Sydney Water's specifications and requirements.
  4. Connect to Sydney Water's water assets
